Late Bottled Vintage Port, DOC Douro 2021 Decanter Bronze Award Winner

The 2016 Sandeman Late Bottled Vintage Port Wine has deep ruby colour. Intense and complex aroma, with notes of black fruits like plum and blackcurrant, hints of shrub and spices, such as ginger and nutmeg, balsamic truffle and undergrowth notes, and a slight cocoa and chocolate note, the result of a good maturation. On the palate it has good volume, lively acidity, firm tannins, very present and of good quality, black fruits and some cocoa, with a very balanced finish.
