Vintage Port, Douro Quinta De Ervamoira Presented In Original Gift Box ***95 Points- GOLD- Decanter 2023***

Ramos Pinto is delighted to announce the release of the 2020 Quinta de Ervamoira Vintage Port. Production was extremely limited with only 9,200 bottles produced.

Quinta de Ervamoira Vintage Port is produced only in exceptional years from the best plots of Quinta de Ervamoira, located in the Douro Superior. The total area of the quinta is 234 ha with 178 ha under vine and an average age of 30 years. Ervamoira lies in a rocky area on the banks of the river Côa, where the weather is hot and dry, adding density and body to the wines, resulting in full-bodied and highly concentrated wines. The altitude, ranging from between 110 to 340 metres, ensures balance and preserves freshness.

Fermented in traditional lagar, this Vintage Port was bottled two years after the harvest and will continue to evolve for decades to come.

Tasting Note:
Opaque, dense colour. Very intense fruity aromas of raspberry and wild berries. A slight floral hint of violet and a touch of peppermint.
Very structured and complex on the palate, with unusually silky and fresh tannins combined with layers of red berries. A silky, aromatic finish.
Quinta de Ervamoira Vintage 2020 is a full-bodied, dense and yet elegant wine.
